Well, the family just returned from a fun winter vacation at the snowy Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls, Michigan. We spent a wonderful snow filled week skiing. The boys have come a long way from their first ski experience four years ago and love it.
Cameron is now skiing the blue intermediate hills with his dad, and Cole and I enjoy spending the day on the green slopes. We were able to ski for three days this year and enjoyed every minute of it. On Wednesday, a snowstorm came in and we played outside in the snow having snowball fights and the boys experienced playing on the playset covered in snow. It was a fast and fun experience as Cole ended up in a face plant in the snow after a fast and slippery slide ride.
The last day of our skiing was a family day and we spent the day skiing together. Cameron went on a chair lift by himself, that was scary; and Cole and I ventured down a blue intermediate hill at the end of the day. We made it down and celebrated in a soak in the hot tub.
Thank you Grandma Peggy for making this possible for us.
I'll post pictures as soon as I figure it out!

The Klabunde News
Hello family and friends.
I have decided to start this blog so you can all keep up with what is going on with us.
We have had a great year and are grateful for all of you. We hope you find yourselves equally blessed and healthy.
It has been a very active year with the boys both playing Pee Wee and football. The boy's football team were undefeated this year and won the championship, too.
Cameron is in Cub Scouts for the first time and is enjoying it, as well as, Chess club.
Cole is enjoying kindergarten and begs to be in all day. They will both begin wrestling this new year.
We've had many vacations this year. We've been to Michigan snow skiing, Florida for spring break, camping with friends at Turkey Run, camping in the UP of Michigan, and went to Holiday World. What a very blessed year.
The boys have been very excited as we just celebrated Christmas and Uncle Tony came from California to visit. They look forward to these visits each year. Uncle Tony and Cameron are pen pals and stay connect via mail.
Kirk and I enjoyed the holiday season and look forward to a wonderful new years.
We love all of you, our family and friends. We are thankful for all of you.
We wish you a wonderful New Year, and don't forget to eat your cabbage for good luck all year long.
